(701) The Prohibition Of Sleeping Before The 'Isha' prayer And Engaging In Conversation After

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ وَعَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَوْفٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي الْمِنْهَالِ سَيَّارِ بْنِ سَلَامَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي بَرْزَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْتَحِبُّ أَنْ يُؤَخِّرَ الْعِشَاءَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَكَانَ يَكْرَهُ النَّوْمَ قَبْلَهَا وَالْحَدِيثَ بَعْدَهَا .
It was narrated that Abu Barzah Al-Aslami said: The Messenger of Allah used to like to delay the 'Isha', and he disliked sleeping before it, and engaging in conversation after it.
